Boquerón is a Spanish vocabulary app. Here's what we do with your data.
What we collect
- Your email — to send you a sign-in code.
- Words you save and your review history — to make the app work.
- Nothing else. No name, location, tracking, analytics, or ads.
Voice and camera
Speech in Hablar and voice capture is processed by Apple's Speech Recognition (on-device or via Apple's servers, depending on iOS settings). Camera capture uses Apple Vision, fully on-device. We never receive or store audio or images.
Where your data lives
Supabase (database), with row-level security so only you can read your data. Data is kept while your account is active and removed within 30 days of account deletion.
Third parties
- Supabase — database and login. https://supabase.com/privacy
- Anthropic Claude — generates definitions from words you save. We send only the word, never your email. https://www.anthropic.com/legal/privacy
- Resend — sends login emails. https://resend.com/legal/privacy-policy
- Apple — on-device speech and image processing.
Your rights
Delete your account (Ajustes → "Eliminar cuenta") to remove your data. EU users have the right to access, correct, or delete their data, or to lodge a complaint with their data protection authority.
Children
Boquerón is not directed at children under 13.
